The SEC and Financial Reporting Institute was created by the School of Accounting in 1982. The overall objective of the Institute is to promote exchange among academicians, policy setters at the SEC and FASB, and business and accounting executives. This broad goal underlies each of the Institute’s main thrusts: to sponsor conferences and meetings, and to undertake research of interest to academicians, policy setters, and business and accounting leaders. The Institute also periodically hosts informal meetings and roundtables between policy setters from the SEC and the private sector, as well as faculty, students, and selected representatives from CPA firms and industry.
You are cordially invited to attend the 36th Annual SEC and Financial Reporting Institute Conference. Complete program details and registration information are in this brochure.
We look forward to having you with us.
Thank you to our sponsors whose generous contributions help make this conference possible.
